Day 13
Our money says, “In God We Trust”. But do we truly trust God with
EVERYTHING? It is easy to trust God when
you your life is going well. You have a good
job, home, your heath, and the family is all getting along. But when you are truly tested about trusting
God is when life does not seem to go right.
Your job is sporadic, you have leaks at the home, your doctor didn’t
give you a good report and the family is arguing. You try your best to “fix” things, but do you
trust God enough to allow him to work in you, your situation and
circumstances. Everything in life does
not need to (or can’t) be fixed, it is about trusting what God is doing and
watch Him.
This evening, please pray that you would
trust God MORE than you ever have. You
say you trust God, but do you really? If
you lost your job today, would you trust Him?
If you are in a family dispute, would you trust him? If you experienced an emergency at your home,
would you trust Him? Think about these
questions and the times where you did not trust God. Be prepare to pray, but also listen to Him as
he seeks to grow you in all areas of your life.
13 For I hear the whispering of many—
terror on every side!—
as they scheme together against me,
as they plot to take my life.
terror on every side!—
as they scheme together against me,
as they plot to take my life.
14 But I trust in you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
~Psalm 31:13-15
