This afternoon we celebrated an award my grandson received for Outstanding Achievement in Math. We applauded and took pictures to encouragement. On the way home he said that his teacher believes he can be an Albert Einstein. What an encouragement that was to him!
We all need and encourage like my grandson's teacher. The apostle Paul partnered with a man who means Son of Encouragement. Why? Because he needed someone who would encourage him during his numerous travels.
Tonight would you pray for someone who needs encouragement. Would you be an encourager to someone today.
After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, say it.” So Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said: “Men of Israel and you who fear God, listen. Acts 13:15-16
